I, William Fuqua of L, being sick and weak in body - To my wife Elizabeth Fuqua - the plantation whereon I now live, and all the lands and plantations thereunto belonging, during her natural life. After her death,
To my son Samuel Fuqua - the plantation whereon I now live, and all the lower end of the same land, up to a line which I have caused to be made, beginning at a corner elm on the River bank at the Ford, thence running by the Ford of Buck Branch at the foot of the Hill, and so by a meadow on the head of Wolf Trap Branch, continuing to a corner white oak on a Ridge, thence turning northward to a corner shrub white oak and red oak in the back line by a path.
To my son Joseph Fuqua - after my wife's death, all the upper end of my land, from the line above mentioned up to the mouth of Turnip Creek.
To my son Moses Fuqua - all my tract of land in Bedford County at a place called Sturgeon Town.
To my son William Fuqua - all my tract of land on Dan River whereon William Robinson now lives.
To my wife Elizabeth Fuqua - the following slaves: Joe, ill, Vol, Abraham, Mol, Doll, Dick, and Sarah, during her natural life, and then to be disposed by her among my children at her own discretion.
To my son John Fuqua - the following slaves: Vol the Younger, Tom, Tim, Jacob, and Peter.
To my son William Fuqua - the following slaves: Fillis, Young Will, Ben, Dallew, and Hanah.
To my wife's daughter Sarah Ward - the following slaves: Luse, Charles, Stepney, Charles the Younger, and Tom the Elder, to her and her heirs, and if none such, to be distributed among my sons (her brothers).
To my son Joseph Fuqua - the following slaves: Fanny, Squire, Dury, Harry, and Young Jean.
To my son Moses Fuqua - the following slaves: Ned, Nan, Judah, and Jerry and old Jean.
To my son Samuel Fuqua - the following slaves: Isaac, Rachel, Young Abraham, old Jim, and Jude.
To my sons, William, Joseph, Samuel - to each, a feather bed.
To my wife Elizabeth Fuqua - all my stock, household furniture, and moveable effects, during her natural life, and after her death, to be equally divided between all my children.
Executors - my wife Elizabeth Fuqua and my son Jno Fuqua and Joseph Fuqua.

Witnesses - Thomas Watkins, Thomas Baughon (+ his mark), John Baughon, Joseph East, Jam's Anderson.
At Mar 3, 1761 Court, the will of the deceased was exhibited in Court by John Fuqua and Joseph Fuqua, the executors, and the same was proved by the oaths of 2 of the witnesses, and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of said executors, certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate of the said will, they giving security, whereupon they, together with Paul Carrington and Clement Read Jr., their securities, entered into their bond, reserving liberty to Elizabeth Fuqua, the executrix, to join in the probate thereof, when she shall think fit.
